Mega Buzz: Is Ray Really Dead on True Detective?

Either way, the bloodshed is just getting started

True Detective's slow-burn second season delivered a gut punch in the closing moments of Episode 2, when leading man Colin Farrell appeared to take two shotgun blasts to the torso. But the show wouldn't kill off Ray Velcoro this early, would it?
While logic suggests there's still much more to learn about Velcoro, let's just put it this way: The opening scene of Sunday's episode (9/8c, HBO) will waste very little time answering that question. (And it does so in one of the weirdest ways possible. One hint: It rather hilariously involves Conway Twitty.)

Check out all this week's Mega Buzz!

One thing you definitely can expect? More bloodshed. In fact, Frank Semyon (Vince Vaughn) will learn the hard way that Ben Caspere's death was very likely just a sign of things to come for people in Frank's inner circle. However, Frank will do his part to even the score in a scene that is sure to make you squirm (and make your teeth ache).
