Being Human
9/8c BBC America
Another stellar season wraps up with a showdown at Lucy and Kemp's research facility. Mitchell races to find his George and Annie and save them from Lucy's macabre experiments, but with his heart rapidly blackening with rage, George and Annie may need to save Mitchell from himself or risk losing their friend forever as the sophomore season concludes. — Karen Andzejewicz
America's Most Wanted
9/8c Fox
Tonight's poster boys include Glen Chambers, convicted of murdering a would-be girlfriend in 1975, who has escaped from prison twice — once from Florida's death row. Chambers was soon captured, then was resentenced to life, but he escaped again in 1990 and has been on the run ever since. And John Schlump of New Jersey can't seem to keep the sparks of love alive, and so, police say, he tried another kind: He tried to burn down the houses of two ex-wives. Fortunately, he seems to be no better at arson than he is at romance — both efforts failed. — Paul Droesch
Fred: The Movie

8/7c Nickelodeon
Popular Internet character Fred Figglehorn (created by his portrayer, Luis Cruikshank) is known for his fast-talking, high-pitched voice, and now that voice can be heard in his very first made-for-cable movie. Fred's big adventure on the small screen centers on his journey to track down his crush, Judy, who moved away. To make matters worse, he discovers she didn't invite him to a party she's hosting. But Fred, of course, has a scheme. Wrestler John Cena and Jennette McCurdy (iCarly) co-star. — Jennifer Sankowski

Bill Burr: Let It Go
11/10c Comedy Central
As the title suggests, comedian Bill Burr has some anger issues that make it difficult to just "let it go." But Burr, who's been hooked on stand-up since his college days in the early 1990s, also knows how to make them funny in this performance at the Fillmore in San Francisco. And after riffing on motherhood, epidemics and suicide, he gets going on a hilarious bit about adopting a rescue dog with his girlfriend that makes it easy to see why he's still an in-demand comic almost two decades later. — Joe Friedrich
College Football
8/7c ABC
Texas and Texas Tech were offensive machines last year, but there have been some changes made. The Longhorns are counting on Garrett Gilbert to step in for all-everything QB Colt McCoy, while the Red Raiders have a new coach in Tommy Tuberville, who should help give the pass-happy Techsters more of a defensive persona. Both teams have a handful of quality receivers, but the Horns may have the advantage with a more established defense. — Dave Roeder
Saturday Night Live
11:29/10:29c NBC
In case you missed it last May, here's another chance to catch octogenarian funnywoman Betty White hosting SNL. It was clearly ladies' night for this special Mother's Day tribute, featuring the return of former distaff cast members Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph and Ana Gasteyer, all reuniting to add a powerhouse female spin to the satirical proceedings. All this glorious estrogen-fueled fun is balanced by the muscular rap stylings of Jay-Z, who takes the stage as music guest. — Dean Maurer
College Football
3:30/2:30c CBS
This SEC opener for Florida and Tennessee hasn't been much of a rivalry of late. The Gators have won the last five games with Urban Meyer at the helm, and they're favored to make it a half dozen today. The Vols have an outstanding tailback in Tauren Poole, but they're very young and lack depth. Last weekend, they were blown out by a tough Oregon squad. Today, they should have their hands full with a speedy Gator defense, and the versatile meanderings of running back/kick returner Jeff Demps. — Dave Roeder
