After crowning the Season 8 winner in early December, The Biggest Loser keeps chugging along as it kicks off its next season, in which players compete as family teams of two. The new batch of contestants is the show's heaviest cast yet and includes identical twins, a cancer survivor and Tongan cousins who are hoping to help shift their culture's view on obesity. The episode starts with a new twist — the contestants learn they'll have to step on the scale at home in front of family and friends. — Brie Hearn
NCIS

8/7c CBS
Rena Sofer guest stars as a woman who has a history with Gibbs, and, like most of the women who have a past with him, she has a considerable amount of bitterness. The unhappy reunion comes about during the investigation of a Navy pilot who is found dead in a remote area. The case has the team fighting against attorney Margaret Allison Hart (Sofer), whose grudge against Gibbs isn't helping matters. — Bill Ecklund
Wild Recon
9/8c Animal Planet
Herpetologist, animal expert and adrenaline junkie Donald Schultz bursts on the scene in a new adventure series.  A mix of Bear Grylls and Steve Irwin, Schulz skydives into the wild on a mission to extract bio samples from animals. It's all done in the name of conservation — many of the animals he targets teeter on the brink of extinction — and retrieving DNA samples can help save a species. In the opener, Schultz goes to Australia to collect venom from indigenous lizards that have been endangered by the cane toad, whose natural defenses are extremely toxic. — Rhoda Charles
The Good Wife
10/9c CBS
To say that Alicia despises state attorney general Glenn Childs (Titus Welliver) is an understatement, and their relationship won't likely improve after she agrees to represent his wife in their divorce case. In the process, Alicia learns more about Peter's legal troubles and his swift fall from grace. Meanwhile, Will gets a little too cozy with the attractive opposing counsel in a wrongful-death suit against a sarcastic TV commentator (Craig Bierko). — Tim Holland
Britain's Missing Top Model
8/7c BBC America
Last week British beauty Kelly Knox was crowned the inaugural winner of Britain's Missing Top Model. Tonight's Season 1 finale profiles the aspiring model, who was born without a left forearm, as she tries to launch her career. Cameras follow Kelly on her highly anticipated shoot with famed fashion photographer Rankin. Then, she finally meets with the head of Take 2 Model Management, who will decide whether or not she has a future in the cutthroat modeling industry. — Karen Andzejewicz
