Stand-up comedian, sitcom sidekick, Emmy co-host... The list comprising Wanda Sykes' resume could go on, but here's the newest item she can add to it: talk-show host. Tonight marks the debut of this funny lady's foray into the talk-show arena, and naturally she's putting her own spin on things. Both regular panelists and celebrities will participate in a panel discussion that touches on current events and pop culture, and the show will also feature some field pieces and comedy segments. — Jennifer Sankowski

The satirical series has some Swift momentum in the first of three straight live episodes. (January Jones hosts Nov. 14, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt hosts Nov. 21.) But tonight it's all about pop-country songstress Taylor Swift, who pulls double duty by hosting and performing. The 19-year-old Pennsylvania native has blonde ambition and is riding high on the re-release of her chart-topping sophomore CD Fearless. — Dean Maurer
Ann Rule's Too Late to Say Goodbye

Things aren't always what they seem to be in this adaptation of Ann Rule's true crime novel. Rob Lowe plays prominent dentist Bart Corbin, who tries to move on after the unexpected suicide of his wife, Jenn (Stephanie Von Pfetten). As rumors of infidelity come to light, suspicions grow and, with the persistence of Jenn's sister, Heather (Lauren Holly), the investigation turns to murder. With Heather on the trail, one thing becomes clear: Bart is not a dentist you want to tick off. — Rhoda Charles
John Fogerty: Live by Request

He may not have been a "Fortunate Son," but John Fogerty has sure lived the rock-and-roll dream, releasing a string of timeless hit songs in the late '60s and early '70s with Creedence Clearwater Revival and, in the '80s, releasing one of the greatest baseball songs of all time, the classic "Centerfield." In this special, he performs viewer requests — which, no doubt, will include such CCR staples as "Bad Moon Rising," "Proud Mary," "Travelin' Band" and "Who'll Stop the Rain." — Jeff Gemmill
