After eight seasons (which seemed to some like twice that many), this sitcom-that-gets-no-respect ends its run tonight with, appropriately enough, Jim's death. Heaven or hell? Jim is on trial before God (Lee Majors) and Satan (Erik Estrada). For Jim's sake, let's hope that there aren't any TV critics on the jury. Also helping usher in Jim's eternal reward (or torment) are guest stars Dan Aykroyd and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. — Paul Droesch
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

As the series closes out its 10th season, Munch gets some well-deserved time in the spotlight when a murder investigation leads him to turn to his ex-wife Gwen (Carol Kane) for help. (Kane last appeared as Gwen on Homicide: Life on the Street.) Munch thinks his ex can possibly lead him to a mentally ill former artist (Nick Stahl) who is a suspect in the murder of a tourist found in Central Park. Time is of the essence, as the suspect seeks revenge on the squad. — Jennifer Sankowski
ABC News Special: Earth 2100

TV documentaries have warned of environmental Armageddon for decades, but this time ABC News is really serious — terms like "die-off" do focus the mind, especially when applied to people. Bob Woodruff shepherds a platoon of scientists and amateur "experts" who submitted their own videos on climate change through nightmare scenarios that could begin to kick in as early as 2015, unless... it's comforting to know that we still have an "unless" option, but don't expect much other comfort here. — Paul Droesch
Paris Hilton's My New BFF

Apparently Paris Hilton doesn't have enough friends. Since last season wrapped, the hotel heiress parted ways with winner Brittany Flickinger, and traveled across the pond for a British version of the show. And she even plans to film another one later this year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. At least she's persistent. She'll give her search for a new bestie another go in tonight's Season 2 premiere, as 14 aspiring hangers-on (13 girls and one boy) begin vying for a spot in her elite inner circle. Let's hope she has better luck this time. — Karen Andzejewicz
Man vs. Wild

 In the course of his career, Will Ferrell has portrayed President George W. Bush, an ice-skating Olympic hopeful and a NASCAR stereotype. While these roles have clearly been good for him, it's safe to assume that nothing on his résumé prepared him for the challenges he faces here. The Land of the Lost star gets a crash course in survival with host Bear Grylls as the unlikely duo traverse the colder parts of northern Sweden. — Michael Chant
