In case you've forgotten (fat chance), today is Inauguration Day, and while it might be chilly in Washington, many folks around the world will have very warm feelings as Barack Hussein Obama takes his oath of office on the Bible Lincoln used in 1861. That should happen a half hour after the actual ceremonies begin. In between the invocation, oath-taking (Vice President Joe Biden is sworn in first), speechifying and benediction are performances by Aretha Franklin, and cellist Yo-Yo Ma and violinist Itzhak Perlman. — Paul Droesch

Fringe
9:01 pm/ET Fox
Now that we know Mitchell Loeb was working to spring Mr. Jones from prison, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to save his hide from that parasite a few months ago. Of course, hindsight is 20/20, but what remains fuzzy when the series returns is the relationship between Olivia's abduction and tonight's probe of the murder of a famous scientist. And since it wouldn't be Fringe without complications, we also get an internal review of Broyles' division and a visit from Olivia's sister (Ari Graynor). — Joe Friedrich

The store sitcom rings up Season 3's third episode, and Trekkers may want to point their ears this way. Leslie boldly goes where no store owner has gone before: He holds a Star Trek convention at the store, despite a potential trademark violation. The gang beams up when actress Jolene Blalock (playing herself) of Star Trek: Enterprise fame arrives for a celebrity appearance. But it's a sigh-fi adventure when Blalock, Leslie and Ingrid — victims of an exploding refrigerator compressor — get trapped in close quarters. — Dean Maurer
