TNT Renews Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes and Perception

TNT has renewed its summer series Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes and Perception, the network announced Thursday. The shows join Falling Skies, which was also recently picked up for a fourth season.

"With the renewals of Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes, Falling Skies and Perception, TNT has built an incredibly strong arsenal of scripted series," TNT boss Michael Wright said in a statement. "And it's only going to get stronger with the addition of Mob City and the return of Dallas this winter, not to mention the debuts of The Last Ship and Legends next summer."

Rizzoli & Isles is the No. 1 basic cable series of the summer to date and will conclude on Sept. 14, with the second half of Season 4 debuting in early 2014. A 15-episode fifth season will premiere in summer 2014.

Major Crimes, which finishes its summer run on Aug. 19, will return in November to conclude its second season, and a 15-epidode third season will also premiere in 2014.

Perception was also renewed for a 15-episode third season, which will launch in summer 2014. The drama concludes its summer episodes on Aug. 27 and will pick back up in early 2014.
