TNT Invites Hawaii Five-0 to Its 2014 Summer Luau

TNT has booked 'em, Danno.

Even before Hawaii Five-0 has finished its freshman season on CBS, TNT has acquired the off-network rights to the action series from CBS Television Distribution. The episodes will begin airing in summer 2014.

"Hawaii Five-0 is a top-notch procedural drama that has already built a strong following," said Michael Wright the head of programming for TNT, TBS and TCM. "With its great characters, intriguing stories, smart sense of humor and explosive action, Hawaii Five-0 is an ideal fit for TNT's lineup."

The CBS drama starring Alex O'Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park is an update of the classic 1970s series about an elite task force that operates in Hawaii. The show's pilot drew more than 14.2 million viewers and in January, Hawaii Five-0 drew its biggest audience yet with 19.3 million viewers.
