The future is not looking good for Perception.

TNT has canceled the Eric McCormack-headlined drama after three seasons, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

8 bubble shows: Which will survive?

Perception starred the Will & Grace alum as a schizophrenic neuropsychiatrist who assists the FBI on some of their most complex cases. The cast also included Rachel Leigh Cook, Kelly Rowan and Scott Wolf. McCormack announced the news Thursday on Twitter:

The series wrapped the first half of its third season in August to 2.57 million viewers and 0.5 rating in the adults 18-49 demo. The remaining five episodes of Season 3 are expected to air early next year.

Perception is just the latest long-running TNT series to get the ax. The cable network canceled Dallas in October after three seasons and announced earlier this week that Franklin & Bash would not return after four seasons.
