TLC will air a documentary on child sex abuse in the wake of the 19 Kids and Counting molestation scandal.

Breaking the Silence, a partnership between the network, RAINN and Darkness to Light, will air commercial-free on Sunday, Aug. 30 (10/9c), TLC announced in a statement. The program hopes to raise awareness and promote education, while also shining a light on those who have been affected by child abuse.

"The one-hour documentary is built around the personal and emotional stories of brave survivors who have found the courage to come forward," the statement reads. "Viewers will also hear from experts, including a prevention training conducted by Darkness to Light, attended by Jill and Jessa, of the Duggar family, who want to use their situation to help others and promote adult education for the protection of children."

TLC cancels 19 Kids and Counting after molestation scandal

In May, Josh Duggar admitted to molesting several underage girls, including some of his own sisters, when he was a teen. TLC officially canceled the family's long-running reality series in July.
