Tim Gunn, Heidi Klum and Zac Posen Exit Project Runway

But Klum and Gunn will team up for a similar series on Amazon Prime

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum are leaving Project Runway after 16 seasons and quite a few network shuffles. But the iconic duo aren't gone for good: they'll be returning to your screens with the same poise, charm, and wit in a new fashion competition show they're developing for Amazon Prime.

The new series is still untitled but will focus on more accessible fashion rather than the couture aspirations frequently showcased on Project Runway. Expect the looks from the series to become a shoppable experience as the retail giant strives to connect content and commerce.

Shortly after the shocking Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum news, judge Zac Posen also announced his exit from the hit series. Unlike Gunn and Klum, we're not sure when we'll see the designer next -- but Posen did announce he's working on a few big projects, so it's likely he'll grace our screens again soon. Perhaps as a guest judge on Gunn and Klum's show? Project Runway fans can only dare to dream.

In the meantime, this means Project Runway, a fashion design competition series that's reached iconic heights and achieved multiple Emmy wins, will be bringing in some new blood. Fans will just have to wait and see if the series is just as compelling without its longtime hosts and judges, but considered it's weathered everything from salacious backstage gossip to getting caught up in the Weinstein Company's bankruptcy (after Harvey Weinstein became the poster boy for #MeToo), we're certain Project Runway can weather anything.
