The Walking Dead's Samantha Morton Promises 'Shivers' in Season 10 Sneak Peek

The Walking Dead returns for Season 10 on Oct. 6, and Samantha Morton can't wait for you to see it.

Morton, who plays ruthless and terrifying Whisperer leader Alpha, features in this new promo released by AMC on Thursday. It's a little jarring to hear "Sam" gush in her natural British accent about how she cried reading the scripts while her face is Alpha's, complete with her signature coating of filth.

The clip doesn't have any new footage from the show, but the juxtaposition of Carol (Melissa McBride) saying "Bitch has to die" with Morton's upbeat positivity is very fun.

The Walking Dead Season 10: Everything We Know So Far

Season 10 will start with the tension between the Whisperers and Alexandria at a simmer that's just short of boiling over into a full-fledged war. All it will take is an Alexandrian getting caught stepping over the border into Whisperer territory. Who do you think that will be?
