The Walking Dead Mega Buzz: Who Kidnapped Carol and Maggie?

Maggie and Carol find themselves in close quarters with some of Negan's gang

Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead picks up right where last week's left off, with a woman's voice on a walkie-talkie telling Rick (Andrew Lincoln) that she has "a Carol and a Maggie." But this time, we're on that voice's side of the radio -- and it belongs to Negan's minion Paula (Alicia Witt).

Paula, the leader of a small band of Saviors who survived Rick & Co.'s assault on their fortress, was described in a casting call last year as "cool, controlled, formidable. She's faced tragedy and trauma and come out the other side stronger and harder. But she's also become colder and less outwardly emotional -- she avoids attachments and maintains a toughly pragmatic, nihilistic worldview." Yikes -- that doesn't sound great for Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Carol (Melissa McBride). But while she might initially be out for revenge, Paula will quickly discover that she has a lot in common with one of her captives.

Catch up on this week's Mega Buzz!

We'll also learn the other Saviors in Paula's group are Donnie (Rus Blackwell), Paula's semi-boyfriend; Molly (Jill Jane Clements), who won't let a case of lung cancer temper her brutality; and 'Chelle (Jeananne Goossen), whose boyfriend was among the group of Saviors that Daryl (Norman Reedus) blew up.
