As The Terror: Infamy comes to a close, it has a few lingering questions to answer, including "What will happen to Amy Yoshida (Miki Ishikawa) after she killed Major Bowen (C. Thomas Howell)?" and "How will the Terminal Islanders adjust to life outside the camp now that their homes are gone and they're living in a country that did this to them?" Those two questions are answered in this exclusive clip from the finale, "Into the Afterlife."

As for what happens to Amy, she gets away with it. In this clip, she tells Nobuhiro Yamato (George Takei) that she wanted revenge on someone, and once she got it, she didn't feel any better. But she doesn't get specific about who or why (she was getting revenge on Bowen for murdering her boyfriend by drowning him in a puddle after he tried to kill her).

Which is why it's a surprise when Yamato-san says, "Major Bowen want to kill you. It was either him or you. You did only thing you can." He doesn't explain how he knows, but he has his ways. And he knows that if the War Relocation Authority doesn't already know what happened to Bowen, they're not going to find out. "You see, it easy to want vengeance," he says. "Natural as death."

What about him, Amy asks. How is he coping with life on Los Angeles' Skid Row, where the Terminal Islanders have ended up now that their homes and livelihoods have been destroyed? "I cry more tear come back from camp than at camp," he says. The line hits hard, considering George Takei's personal history with internment.

As for what happens with Yuko (Kiki Sukezane) and Chester (Derek Mio), you'll have to tune in for The Terror: Infamy's season finale, Monday, Oct. 14 at 9/8c on AMC.
