The Society Renewed for Season 2 on Netflix

The kids of New Ham will be back for more mysteries and murder

Sadie Gennis

When The Society premiered on Netflix in May, it became an instant hit as viewers couldn't wait to learn more about the mysterious world of New Ham. Now, it looks like we'll finally get some real answers, as Netflix has officially renewed the drama for Season 2.

The cast of The Society -- including Kathryn Newton, Jack Mulhern, Sean Berdy, and Toby Wallace -- revealed the exciting news in an adorable video, where they promised the new episodes will include more answers about Charlie, Becca's (Gideon Adlon) baby daddy, and also (of course) more pie. We will have to wait a while before Season 2 premieres, though. Production is set to begin later this year with an anticipated release date in 2020. But that just means we have even more time to speculate on what the deal is with the dog is and how it might be possible for Campbell to be even worse in Season 2 (because we all know he'll find new lows to sink to now that he's in power).

The Society is available to stream on Netflix now.
