Brace yourselves, Browncoats! Nathan Fillion just teased a very special treat in Season 2 of his ABC drama The Rookie.

Firefly may have gone off the air over 15 years ago, but those 14 episodes of truly stellar television still hold a very special place in fans' hearts. Now, Fillion's current series will be paying homage to that love by providing us with a Firefly reunion! TV Guide has confirmed that Alan Tudyk, who starred opposite Fillion in Firefly as Wash, will guest star in an upcoming episode of The Rookie. Tudyk will play Ellroy Basso, a bioremediation specialist who schools Fillion's Nolan on the art of crime scene cleaning.

Fillion took to Instagram to announce the news in a cute video that is sure to give you all the nostalgia your Firefly-loving hearts can take.

Fillion started out talking straight the camera, saying, "You know, you want to have talent. Sometimes it's not about having the most talent. It's just about having the most talent in the room." He then pivoted the camera to reveal that Tudyk was in the room with him, dropping possibly the best bomb ever on us by sharing a casual greeting with his long-time friend.

Can you even?!

Tudyk's episode of The Rookie will air later this season, but no date has been announced at this time.

The Rookie airs Sundays at 10/9c on ABC.
