The Originals series finale may not have sent Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) off into the sunset together like Klaroline fans might have hoped, but never fear! There's still one very sweet scene left to watch for fans of these two characters and their eternal will-they-won't-they love story.

On the final day of filming for the series finale, the cast headed to New Orleans to film the two scenes between the Original siblings that ended the series, but that's not the only thing they shot! That same day, Joseph Morgan and Candice King filmed on the streets of New Orleans, with a full Mardis Gras celebration raging around them that ended up getting cut from the finale.

"That scene is a beautiful callback to the scene where Klaus and Cami (Leah Pipes) met in Jackson Square in the pilot," says showrunner Julie Plec.

Indeed, in the scene, Klaus and Caroline take in a street artist practicing his craft and Klaus tells her about meeting Cami when he first moved to New Orleans. They even joke about how many similarities she and Caroline had. Blonde hair, hearts bigger than the sun and the patience of a saint. Yep, that sounds like our girls!
