The Mindy Project fans have been hoping for good news ever since the series ended on a cliff-hanger in March, but all signs point to Fox passing on a fourth season. The comedy could, however, return on Hulu, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Universal Television is reportedly in talks with Hulu for a multiple-season renewal, that would likely add two seasons to Mindy's library.

Throughout its three seasons, Mindy has remained on the bubble, averaging just under 3 million viewers in its most recent season. If Mindy landed Hulu, it would join new original series Difficult People, The Way and 11/22/63 starring James Franco.
