Fox announced Monday that the singing competition's third season will debut on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, immediately following Super Bowl LIV.
Hosted by Nick Cannon, The Masked Singer follows a group of celebrities, who identities are concealed, competing against each other while a panel of judges try to guess who is under the mask. T-Pain came out on top in Season 1, baffling the judges all way until the end. No word yet on when exactly Season 2 will arrive, but you can expect a new crop of celebrities to show off their singing chops.
The Masked Singer will join a bevy of other returning shows in Fox's 2019-2020 lineup, includingThe Orville, which was renewed for Season 3; Empire, which will end after Season 6; and Last Man Standing, the resurrected Tim Allen comedy. New shows headed your way include the 9-1-1 spin-off 9-1-1: Lone Star, starring Rob Lowe; the John Slattery thriller neXt; and Kim Cattrall's souther gothic family drama Filthy Rich.
The Masked Singer returns for Season 2 this fall on Fox.
