Prepare for some more sassy, fast-talking stand-up sessions.

Amazon revealed on Monday that the premiere date for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 will be Dec. 6. The news was accompanied by a teaser that reveals the first footage of the season.

Season 3 is expected to pick up with Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) taking up soul singer Shy Baldwin's (Leroy McClain) offer to open for him on a national tour, which will finally allow Midge to live out her dream of becoming a full-time comic. Judging from the teaser and the first-glimpse image we got of her and her manager Susie (Alex Borstein), Midge was made for life on the road.

In addition to following her new triumphs -- and, probably, a few travails -- the new season will also feature the arrival of some new talent to the cast list. This Is Usstar Sterling K. Brown announced that he would be appearing in the new season, and creator Amy Sherman-Palladino hinted that she might just stage a Gilmore Girlsreunion and bringing Lauren Graham into the fold as well.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 premieres Friday, Dec. 6 on Amazon.

Seasons 1 and 2 currently available to stream on Amazon.
