We're only a few weeks out from the launch of Disney+, which means we're only a few weeks out from one of the most highly anticipated projects of the fall: The first-ever live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian.

Set a few years after the end of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi -- so after the fall of the Galactic Empire but before the rise of the First Order — the show hails from executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni and follows a lone gunfighter (played by Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal) on the outer reaches of the galaxy. Much of the show has been shrouded in secrecy — Disney+ isn't even sending episodes to critics for review — but that's only made Star Wars fans more excited.

Everything We Know So Far About Disney+, Disney's Streaming Service

And to amp up the hype even more, the streaming service has released a new trailer for the series, which also stars Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Taika Waititi, Giancarlo Esposito, Nick Nolte, Werner Herzog, Omid Abtahi, and Emily Swallow. You can check it out above.

The Mandalorian premieres Tuesday, Nov. 12 on Disney+, with new episodes debuting Fridays starting Nov. 15. Find out more about the streaming service here.
