John Stamos Is Hamming It Up in First The Little Mermaid Live! Teaser

Meet the not-so-unfortunate souls bringing Disney's The Little Mermaid back to life. The stars of ABC's upcoming special The Little Mermaid Live! ventured under the sea for a new teaser that offers a first look at the cast in character, including Moana's Auli'i Cravalho as Ariel. And John Stamos is already threatening to steal the show as Chef Louis, a role he also played in the Hollywood Bowl's The Little Mermaid concert earlier this year.

The Little Mermaid Live! airs Nov. 5 on ABC, just over a week before the movie celebrates its 30th anniversary. The TV event also stars Queen Latifah as Ursula, Shaggy as Sebastian, and Graham Phillips as Prince Eric.

Everything We Know About The Little Mermaid Live!

Directed and executive produced by Hamish Hamilton, The Little Mermaid Live! will combine live musical performances with sequences from the original animated feature. Songs from the Broadway musical will also be included.

The Little Mermaid Live! airs Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 8/7c on ABC.
