Good news for us, bad news for June

We've got good news and bad news. The good news is that The Handmaid's Tale is renewed for Season 4! The bad news is that this means June's (Elisabeth Moss) bid to smuggle children out of Gilead is probably going to hit a few more roadblocks.

Hulu announced at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that the popular dystopian drama will return for another season. The news comes just three weeks before the drop of the third season finale. For those of us obsessed with June's exploits in Gilead, this is a double-edged sword. Sure, we get more episodes, which means more story, but you've got to start asking yourself how long this poor woman can survive such a harsh world, especially given her recent revolutionary tendencies. Needless to say, her noble mission to free children from Gilead, regardless of whether it succeeds, will probably end up fueling the story for Season 4.

Hulu did not release any information on a Season 4 premiere date or when production will begin, but we can probably expect the series to have another spring or early summer drop in 2020.
