There's no need to feel nostalgic about The Goldbergsor Schooled just yet. ABC's '80s- and '90s-set sitcoms were both renewed.
On Saturday, creator Adam F. Goldberg tweeted that, while some contracts were still being figured out, "I can officially announce that another hour long block of 1980something and 1990something is on the way!!!!!!" Sean Giambrone, who plays Adam on The Goldbergs, also shared his excitement at the show getting renewed. "Yes! A BIG THANK YOU to our loyal fans, incredible writers, fantastic crew, wonderful cast, amazing @adamfgoldberg @ABCNetwork @SPTV So excited for Season 7," Giambrone wrote.
ABC has since confirmed both renewals, meaning The Goldbergs will officially return for a seventh season and its spin-off Schooled will return for a second.
