The Flash: Does Nora Have a Partner in Time-Traveling Crime?

Sherloque Wells is on to you, girl!

When it comes to Nora West-Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy), the mysteries just keep adding up on The Flash! Not only do we still have no explanation for why Nora is so frosty with Iris (Candice Patton), we're now faced with the possibility that Nora's big decision to change the past might not have been entirely her own.

As we expected, Vibe (Carlos Valdes) didn't actually die in this week's episode, morbidly titled "The Death of Vibe," but he did go head-to-head with Cicada (Chris Klein). Thanks to their brief encounter last episode, Cicada zeroed in on Vibe as his next target, even torturing Joe (Jesse L. Martin) for information on the masked vigilante. Thanks to an assist from the new version of Harrison Wells, Sherloque Wells (Tom Cavanagh), and some fast thinking from Nora, Team Flash was able to fake Vibe's death to get Cicada off their backs, but something tells us that's only a temporary fix.

Sherloque Wells lived up to his name in every way though, deducing secrets about all of our characters thanks to small shifts in behavior, body language and even their shoes! We'd love to say Iris' removed tattoo was the most shocking revelation of the night, but sadly, that award goes to Nora.

In the final scene of the episode, Sherloque questioned Nora about her decision to travel back to the past to witness some of her parents greatest moments, both joyous and dangerous, but the one he just couldn't seem to make his mind up about was her decision to intervene to help destroy the Thinker's satellite attack in the Season 4 finale. "That decision... did you come to it on your own?" Sherloque asked her with the intensity of someone who already knew the answer. Going off of Nora's stunned (and very guilty-looking) silence, we'd have to say someone else may have been aware of her time-traveling shenanigans all along. Not only that, this person even weighed in on her decision to cause such a huge change to the timeline. But who could it have been?

That's a question for another day, but if there was someone else involved, that would explain why Nora was so panicked and guilty about creating a new version of Cicada thanks to her intervention. Rather than working with her dad and the team to fix the mistake, she tried to take it on all by herself, often making very rash and unwise decisions. Seems like the act of a guilty speedster hoping not to get caught keeping secrets, right?

Who do you think Nora's potential partner in time traveling crime could be?

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
