The Flash Taps Vampire Diaries Alum for Popular DC Comics Role

A familiar face is returning to The CW to romance The Flash. Malese Jow, who played fan-favorite Anna on The Vampire Diaries and starred on last season's Star-Crossed, has joined the cast of The Flash, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress will play DC Comics character Linda Park, a reporter for the Central City Picture News who befriends Candice Patton's Iris. When she meets Barry (Grant Gustin), sparks fly.

In the comics, Park is the girlfriend and eventual wife of Wally West, the third Flash and the first Kid Flash. Look for Jow's first appearance on the show in Episode 12.

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
