Keiynan Lonsdale Rapping About Leaving The Flash Is Such a Mood

"TV's cool but a bore, left it in a dash"

Calling all The Flash fans! If you haven't heard Keiynan Lonsdale's new song, you're missing out on about a thousand Flash-related giggles.

It's no secret we were pretty much heartbroken when Lonsdale, who played Wally West, aka Kid Flash, decided to leave the series after spending only two years on the CW show. Sure, he just moved over to DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but he eventually left that show behind, too. Now, the actor is referencing his departure from the series in seriously catchy new song.

The lyrics for "Rainbow Dragon" don't exactly mince words about his decision to leave, reading, "I realized I could eat some ass if I wanted to, I could smoke some grass if I wanted to, I could quit The Flash if I wanted to."

The song (which has a pretty cool music video to go with it) even has some "hater commentary" in the background, saying, "What the f--- is he doing? He's trying to make music? Wasn't he on that TV show? I don't know, I don't know who the f--- he is," to which Lonsdale sings, "Honestly, TV's cool but a bore, left it in a dash, had it all, wanted more, took it to the max," while walking away from a Teen Choice Awards surfboard and an MTV popcorn trophy.

Um, MOOD. Let us all one day have the confidence to look back on jobs we decided to bounce on with such confidence!

There doesn't seem to be any bad blood between Lonsdale and those who still work on show though; new showrunner Eric Wallace announced during the series' San Diego Comic-Con panel in July that Wally West will return for a couple of episodes this year to team up with Barry (Grant Gustin) again.

All's well that ends well, we guess!

The Flash Season 6 premieres Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 8/7c on The CW.
