The Flash Cast Plays Who Said It: Barry Allen or a Disney Character?

Is Barry Allen cheesy enough to be a Disney character?

While Arrow may have established itself as the dark, broody branch of The CW's superhero tree, it's no secret that The Flash is the earnest, borderline corny branch.

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is always ready with a pep talk for friends -- and foes! -- that often touch your heart. In fact, he's so sincere sometimes that we'd almost call him a Disney character -- which is exactly why we decided to use that ooey-gooey heart of his to put The Flash cast to the test!

To celebrate the show reaching 100 episodes, we found a few of Barry's most heartfelt quotes from the show and mixed them in with some iconic lines from your favorite Disney movies to see if the cast could recognize which quotes belonged to Barry and which belonged to literal animated icons. Barry Allen himself, Grant Gustin, was hard to stump, though we did get him on the following quote from The Lion King: "The past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it." Who knew Rafiki and Barry have the same outlook on time travel?

Other surprise experts were Carlos Valdes, who properly identified a quote from Hercules, and Jessica Parker Kennedy, who obviously had a good ear for picking out her onscreen dad's lines. Of course you can always play the game like Tom Cavanagh: The rules don't matter and The Little Mermaid is always the right answer!

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
