Netflix has found its Lady Diana Spencer for The Crown's fourth season, and the actress' resemblance to the late Princess Di is uncanny.

The streaming service announced on Tuesday that up-and-coming actress Emma Corrin (Grantchester, Misbehaviour) will portray the beloved royal. The announcement was accompanied by a head shot of Corrin that bears a striking resemblance to the young Diana who captivated the world's heart as she became "the people's princess."

Those piercing eyes. The delicately pursed smile. This picture alone gives us legitimate chills because we can already envision her suiting up in that heaping gown for the inevitable royal wedding scene.

In a statement, Corrin said, "I have been glued to the show and to think I'm now joining this incredibly talented acting family is surreal. Princess Diana was an icon and her effect on the world remains profound and inspiring. To explore her through Peter Morgan's writing is the most exceptional opportunity, and I will strive to do her justice!"

Netflix also announced that filming for Season 4 will begin this year. Corrin joins a growing cast of newcomers to the series, which also includes Olivia Colman taking over as Queen Elizabeth II, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Emerald Fennell as Camilla Parker Bowles, and, reportedly, Gillian Anderson as Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

The Crown Season 3 is expected to arrive sometime this year. The first two seasons are currently streaming on Netflix.
