The Bold Type Season 3 is almost here, and TV Guide has got an exclusive first look at brand new teasers revealing what Jane (Katie Stevens), Kat (Aisha Dee), Sutton (Meghann Fahy) and Jacqueline (Melora Hardin) will be up to when we return to Scarlet.
You can sneak a peek at Kat's unlikely run for office, Jane's journey into freezing her eggs, Sutton's rekindled romance with Richard (Sam Page) and Jacqueline's workplace woes as Scarlet introduces a new dude to take over digital — spoiler alert: we don't like him.
Jane's teaser may not tell us whether she picked Pinstripe (Dan Jeannotte) in her little love triangle cliffhanger that ended Season 2, but it does reveal that whoever she's with, they're moving forward with freezing her eggs. Jane also appears to be taking on someone pretty powerful if even Oliver (Stephen Conrad Moore) is telling her to back off a story for fear of blowback. Interesting...
As for Kat, she'll find herself unexpectedly running for city council, meaning she's got quite a bit on her plate. Whether Adena (Nikohl Boosheri) is also on that plate in Season 3 we can't say, but at least Kat's finally realizing that being black and gay is a "one, two punch" in politics. Kat Edison 2020!
Meanwhile, Sutton's living her best life — including doing that thing all girls do when they're wearing a dress with a slit — and enjoying being out and about with Richard since she finally doesn't have to hide their relationship anymore. They appear to be moving pretty quickly though since he's apparently already asked her to move in! A girl's got to have time to make big career moves, Richard! Slow your roll.
Last but not least, Jacqueline's teaser reveals nothing about her recent dust-up with the board of directors over Jane's egg-freezing story, but we feel like having a new head of digital in the office speaks for itself. Jacqueline might be in hot water this year. At least she'll always have her faithfully snarky assistant around to drop truth bombs! We love that guy.
The Bold Type returns Tuesday, April 9 at 8/7c on Freeform.
