It took a century of cryo-sleep for our heroes to get there, but the new planet in The 100 probably won't be the serene utopia in which everyone had hoped to wake up.
Thanks to the show's trailer, we already know that this place is brimming with weirdness, like eclipse-induced psychosis and barbed-tongued snakes, and now we may have a couple of more clues about what madness lies ahead in the new locale for The 100 Season 6.
Showrunner Jason Rothenberg has unveiled the upcoming season's new title art sequence, which showcases the two-sunned wonder of the new planet while dropping key hints about what darkness lies beneath all its vividly colorful splendor.
If you look closely, you can spot a few ominous outlines, like a spot labeled "anomaly" which turns into a straight-up skull and another wooded area called the "offering grove." Neither of those places can be good, can they?
We already know that the leader of the so-called Sanctum, Russell (J.R. Bourne), isn't going to be too keen on welcoming the new arrivals, so with all these creepy sites, and, of course, that giant swarm of bugs, the first leg of explorers better be on guard.
The 100 returns Tuesday, April 30 at 9/8c on The CW.
