They're Back! Here's Your Refresher Before Teen Mom OG Premieres

Now that her lips are back to normal, Farrah Abraham is officially returning for more Teen Mom. The reality star-turned-porn actress-turned-erotic novelist has signed on for the upcoming spin-off series Teen Mom OG, opposite her fellow "original girls" Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood.

As if she'd say no, right? Well, she wasn't even asked initially last summer when the other three came on board. "I think they were more or less saying that there was more to my story that they really felt was missing from the Teen Mom show, and I totally agree with them," Abraham ever so modestly told Us Weekly of her decision to return. "I understand their point of view, and it was a funny situation to be in."

Barring a handful of specials, this will be the first series the quartet has been on since Teen Mom wrapped in 2012 after four seasons. Before Teen Mom OG premieres later this year, here's all you need to know about the OG and what they've been up to since the show ended (hint: putting the "mom" in Teen Mom.)
Farrah Abraham
Age: 23
Offspring: Sophia, 5
On the show: A single teen mom, Abraham lost her ex-boyfriend, Derek Underwood, in a car accident in December 2008, two months before their daughter was born. She and Sophia moved out on their own after Abraham's mother, Debra Danielson, was arrested and charged for assaulting her daughter. In 2011, Abraham moved to Florida to attend the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where she began dating Daniel Alvarez. They broke up after she pressed him to propose six weeks (!) into their relationship.
Must-see Teen Mom moment: Let's be real, nothing Abraham has done on Teen Mom holds a candle to her post-show antics, but here is said moment of Abraham pressuring Alvarez for "more of a commitment" if you're so inclined.

Off the show: Where to begin? Abraham made a porn, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, with James Deen; tried to pass off the porn as a leaked sex tape; feuded with Charlie Sheen after she actually did leak their texts; released an Auto-Tuned album; went on Couples Therapy alone; had sex toys molded in her likeness; had a second boob job done; wrote an erotic novel, Celebrity Sex Tape: In the Making; and had botched lip implants. Also, all the other Teen Moms hate her.

Teen Mom's Farrah: I'm not a whore -- I'm a role model
Maci Bookout
Age: 23
Offspring: Bentley, 6
On the show: A textbook overachiever, Bookout graduated high school early and juggled work and community college classes while raising Bentley with her dead weight fiancé Ryan Edwards. They eventually broke up, and she and Bentley moved in with her new boyfriend Kyle King.
Must-see Teen Mom moment: As the most level-headed of the quartet, Bookout's Teen Mom tenure was short on crazy drama, but high on totally adorable moments with Bentley.

Off the show: Bookout broke up with King in 2012 and she is now expecting a baby with her beau of two years, Taylor McKinney. The social media marketing specialist also owes $80,000 to the IRS in unpaid taxes from 2011.
Teen Mom's Maci: "I can make it through anything thrown at me"
Catelynn Lowell
Age: 22
Offspring: Carly, 5 (birth daughter), and Novalee Reign, 1 month
On the show: Arguably the most stable couple of the franchise, Lowell and her boyfriend Tyler Baltierra gave up Carly for adoption on 16 & Pregnant against the wishes of her mom April and his dad Butch, who were married at the time. (You can't make this stuff up!) They spent subsequent seasons coming to terms with the adoption while remaining part of Carly's life and enduring guilt trips from April and Butch. Oh, and April and Butch are divorced now, and he's back in jail for violating his probation.
Must-see Teen Mom moment: Lowell and Baliterra's emotional one-year reunion with Carly.

Off the show: Baltierra called off their July 2013 wedding after he realized he wasn't ready for marriage yet on Couples Therapy, where they clashed with Farrah. He re-proposed on Christmas Day 2014. A week later, Lowell gave birth to their daughter, Novalee Reign, and had to put haters in their place.

Teen Mom's Catelynn: Wedding with Tyler is definitely not in the near future
Amber Portwood
Age: 24
Offspring: Leah, 6
On the show: She abused her on-again, off-again fiancé, Gary Shirley. A lot. After getting arrested on domestic violence charges, Portwood, who also tried to commit suicide in 2011, lost full custody of Leah and was sentenced to rehab, where she stayed for two months.
Must-see Teen Mom moment: All the times she beat up Shirley.

Off the show: After getting arrested in December 2011 for drug possession and probation violation, Portwood chose prison instead of a rehab program. She entered prison in June 2012 to start her five-year sentence, but was released in November 2013 for good behavior. A month later, she revealed on Dr. Phil that she was high the entire time she was on Teen Mom. She released a book, Never Too Late, last August, plans to attend college and has a new boyfriend, Matt Baier. Shirley has moved on too: He's expecting a baby with his girlfriend Kristina Anderson.
