The comedy has been renewed for a 10-episode second season, the network announced Tuesday. In its first season, the comedy is averaging more than 2.5 million viewers, ranking as one of the Top 23 new summer series on TV.

"Sullivan & Son has gotten off to a strong start, quickly building its own fan base," said Michael Wright, president and head of programming for TBS, TNT and TCM. "We've had a great time working with Steve Byrne, Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, Rob Long and the wonderful cast and crew of Sullivan & Son, and we look forward to seeing the show continue to grow in 2013."
Son stars Byrne as a corporate attorney who leaves Manhattan behind to take over his parents' Pittsburgh bar. The series airs Thursdays at 10/9c on TBS.
