TBS Orders Ground Floor from Bill Lawrence and Greg Malins

TBS ordered 10 episodes of Ground Floor, a workplace comedy from Bill Lawrence and Greg Malins, the network announced Friday.
The sitcom stars Skylar Astin as a banker who has a one-night stand with a woman (Briga Heelan), whom he later discovers does maintenance for the building where he works. John C. McGinley plays Astin's critical boss. Rory Scovel, James Earl, Alexis Knapp and Rene Gube also star.

"Ground Floor is a smart and extremely funny comedy that blends workplace humor with relatable romantic entanglements," Michael Wright, TBS and TNT's head of programming, said in a statement. "It's all brought together by a wonderful ensemble. With Ground Floor, we're thrilled to be extending our creative partnership with Cougar Town's Bill Lawrence.Earlier on Friday, NBC gave a series order to Lawrence's sitcom Undateable.
