TBS to Debut Rashida Jones' Angie Tribeca with 25-Hour Commercial-Free Marathon

Rashida Jones' cop comedy Angie Tribecawill premiere on TBS with a 25-hour marathon, the network announced Thursday.

All 10 episodes of Angie Tribeca's first season will air five times in a row, commercial-free beginning Sunday, Jan. 17 at 9/8c. It will also be available on TBS' VOD, digital and mobile platforms. Then beginning on Monday, Jan. 25, TBS will begin rolling out 10 new episodes of Angie Tribeca, with each episode airing weekly at 9:30/8:30c.

The comedy stars Jones as Angie Tribeca, a lone-wolf detective who isn't pleased when she's partnered up with J Geils (Hayes MacArthur). The rest of the police squad features Jere Burns as the apoplectic captain Chet Atkins, Deon Cole as Det. Danny Tanner and Andree Vermeulen as the medical examiner Dr. Monica Scholls.

"Dead bodies, heinous crimes, complex mysteries within mysteries, violence, grit, sex, gritty sex and a detective who will stop at nothing to get her man...or woman...or ferret. We are so incredibly proud of Angie Tribeca, we're going to shove it down America's throat in a really big way. And not just America. We're taking Angie global!"
