Syfy Orders Sharknado 3

Syfy is gonna need a bigger boat.

The network has ordered Sharknado 3, before the second installment in the franchise even airs. The threequel will air in summer 2015, though Syfy has not specified in which city it will take place.

Is Sharknado 2 "the most important film ever made about climate change"?

Tara Reid and Ian Ziering, who starred in the original movie, will be in the second film, along with Vivica A. Fox, Andy Dick and Mark McGrath.

The original Sharknado, which premiered on Syfy in 2013, was about a freak hurricane hitting Los Angeles, which caused the city to be flooded with seawater containing man-eating sharks. Watch a clip from the movie here.

Sharknado: The Second One, which was filmed in New York City, will premiere on July 30.
