The show, which focuses on two teenage girls who were switched at birth, has been critically acclaimed for shining a light on the deaf community and won the network a Peabody Award. The news of Switched at Birth's final bow comes in the same week that Freeform announced it was also ending its workplace comedy Kevin From Work.
Switched at Birth's final season is set to premiere this summer, but no official date has been set.
