Switched at Birth Exclusive First Look: Bay and Daphne Get Inked in China!

Switched at Birth won't return for its fifth and final season until Jan. 31, 2017, but TVGuide.com can exclusively give fans a sneak peek at what's coming when the show returns.

The Season 4 finale's major cliffhanger found Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) in China. Ten months after their initial visit, the girls were still in Asia and had settled into their lives; Daphne is working at a medical clinic and Bay has become a tattoo artist. In the final moments, Bay gets a phone call that sends her running to Daphne to convince her sister they need to go back to Kansas.

Switched at Birth is ending after next season

We're still waiting to find out what Vasquez-Kennish family emergency is enough to bring the girls back to the USA, but our first look photos do a give a glimpse into the girls' lives in China and potentially the first step to Bay's new career. It seems both girls were ready to get inked when they got to their new country. Check out the pics of them getting the tattoos together below.
