SVU Exclusive: Oscar Nominee Cicely Tyson Will Guest
Cicely Tyson will guest-star on an upcoming episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Tyson will play Ondine, a preacher's wife who works with her husband to relocate former child soldiers from Africa to the U.S. to help them escape their violent lives. Benson and Stabler meet Ondine when one of the children is brutally attacked. Ondine's husband has yet to be cast. Tyson is a two-time Emmy winner and earned an Oscar nomination for playing a sharecropper's wife in Sounder (1972).
