Bruce Beresford-Redman is a suspect in the death of his wife, Monica Beresford-Redman, who was found dead Thursday in Cancun, Mexico. Local authorities released Bruce Beresford-Redman from detention Friday, but he is still not allowed to leave the country as the investigation continues.
Custody of the two children, ages 5 and 3, was given specifically to Bruce Beresford-Redman's parents, a source tells the AP.
Former Survivor producer released from detention
Monica Beresford-Redman was found dead in a sewer in Cancun Thursday with scratches on the neck, signs of asphyxiation and a blow to the right temple, according to Quintana Roo Attorney General Francisco Alor.
A CBS official told TVGuide.com that Beresford-Redman had not worked on Survivor since 2004. Beresford-Redman also produced Pimp My Ride, The Restaurant and The Contender.
