Survivor's Aras Baskauskas Is Engaged

Survivor: Blood vs. Water contestant Aras Baskauskas proposed to his girlfriend over the weekend, People reports.

Baskauskas popped the question to his girlfriend of four years, Christy Peterson, during a sunset on a beach in Big Sur Saturday evening, according to People.

"She said yes, and we celebrated that night over Mexican food and margaritas," Baskauskas tells People.

Aras won Survivor: Panama and is competing with his brother Vytas in Survivor: Blood vs. Water. Though he's on Redemption Island in Blood vs. Water after getting voted out last week, if he stages a comeback, the million-dollar prize would certainly be helpful in terms of wedding planning.

Peterson is a model and clothing designer, and Baskauskas moonlights as a musician who goes by the name Odd Us.
