Rebel Wilson's new ABC comedy Super Fun Night will premiere next week — but it won't be the pilot episode that viewers will see.
ABC is choosing to debut the show with Episode 2 rather than the pilot, TV Line reports. The reason behind the move is unclear; however, the pilot episode has received mostly unfavorable reviews from critics.
Fall TV Preview: Must-watch new shows
In the original pilot, Wilson's character Kimmie receives a job promotion, and she and her two socially awkward friends (Lauren Ash and Liza Lapira) decide to spend a rare night out on the town to celebrate.
In Episode 2, the trio visits a piano bar and Wilson's Bridesmaids co-star Matt Lucas guest-stars.
There's no word on when (or if) the pilot episode of Super Fun Night will air. Are you surprised by the move?
