School is nearly out and soon the kiddios will be home for summer vacation, a time to have fun and chill at the pool, beach, park, library and, our favorite spot, in front of the TV. Here are our picks for the hottest shows of the season.

Phineas and Ferb
8/7c Disney XD
New episodes of the animated series about two step-brothers who throw themselves into making every day an adventure air throughout the summer, beginning June 14 when as a means to beat boredom the boys not only build the ultimate lemonade stand, but also an authentic log cabin and pioneer village. Impressive, however they manage to top that during an hour-long installment, which will air in August and features a duet by legendary R&B singer Chaka Khan and Season 2 American Idolrunner-up Clay Aiken. Can you feel the funk?

Cyberchase
Check local listings PBS
Are you worried about summer brain drain? Keep kids thinking without them even realizing it with new episodes of Cyberchase, the educational series for children ages 8 to 11, which starts up its eighth season on June 25. Stories follow the intergalactic adventures of Jackie, Matt and Inez, three young Earthlings on a mission to outwit the evil Hacker (voice of Emmy winner Christopher Lloyd) using everything they know about science, technology, engineering and math.

Dora the Explorer
9am/8c Nickelodeon
Look who's turning 10? Feliz Cumpleanos, Dora! The Latina explorer loved by preschoolers around the world celebrates a decade of educating and entertaining with the hour-long primetime special "Dora's Big Birthday Adventure" airing on the anniversary of the show's debut, August 15. Also in August a documentary directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Brett Morgen ("The Kid Stays in the Picture") will trace Dora's sweet road to success and there's even a new Web site, DoratheExplorer.com, devoted to the animated superstar. Finally, fans won't want to miss the June 11 premiere of "Dora's Pirate Treasure Hunt"—it's sure to be a swashbuckling good time!

Jonas L.A.
8:30/7:30c Disney Channel

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc
7/6c Cartoon Network
Scooby-Doo, where are you? A hip reboot of the 40-year-old cartoon franchise puts the meddling kids and their—talking!—canine pal Scoob in Crystal Cove, the most-haunted town in the world, where they solve mysteries much to the chagrin of everyone else who lives there. Among the celebs who lend their voices to the series (either as guest stars or recurring characters) are: Patrick Warburton, Gary Cole, Linda Cardellini, George Segal, Ben McKenzie, Tricia Helfer, Tia Carrere, Julie Bowen, science fiction writer Harlan Ellison and—for those who know their Scooby history—Vincent Van Ghoul.
