Suge Knight Rushed to Hospital After Pleading Not Guilty to Murder

Rap mogul Suge Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records, was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after pleading not guilty to murder, People reports.

Knight, 49, was arraigned in court after a hit-and-run accident on Thursday, Jan. 29 left one man dead and another hospitalized. If convicted, Knight faces up to life in prison.

"He complained about some type of medical condition at which time our medical services were called and he was transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Kelvin Moody told the website. "Paramedics were called to evaluate him and they felt the need to transport him to a local hospital."

Knight's current condition is unknown, but according to CNN, he'd been complaining of chest pains.

Knight was shot six times at a pre-Video Music awards party in August. He was hospitalized again in early November for a blood clot in his lung.
