Stranger Things: Get Ready to See More Will and Steve in Season 2

Plus: Two more kids will join Netflix's creepy series

Tim Surette

The Upside Down gods have answered our prayers! We will be getting more Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) in Season 2 of Stranger Things.

Keery and Noah Schnapp, the young actor who played Will Byers, have both been giving promotions to series regulars in the next season of Netflix's breakout hit, a raise that usually implies they'll play a larger part in the story. I guess that means the Byers family better keep that plumbing clear for all the barfed-up slugs Will will be coughing up.

Additionally, Stranger Things has added two new young cast members in Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery. Sink, who you may remember from NBC's short-lived American Odyssey, will play a tomboy named Max who we're guessing crosses paths with our Dungeons & Dragons playing crew.

Montgomery, who you'll be able to see as the Red Ranger in the upcoming Power Rangers film, will play her older stepbrother Billy, and Steve better hold onto Nancy (Natalia Dyer) tight. Why? Because Billy is a notorious girlfriend stealer. Sure, whatever, you say, Steve's hair will keep Nancy close. But what about this detail: Billy drives a black Camaro. *GULP*

Is Stranger Things' Steve really Jean-Ralphio's dad? The actors find out

Details on Season 2 are still murky, as creators the Duffer Brothers are keeping everything secret. However, we do know that Nancy and Steve run into more complications. Could that complication drive a badass muscle car?

Netflix has yet to announce a premiere date for Season 2 of Stranger Things. Season 1 is available to stream now.
