Stranger Things: Barb Returns, but Eleven Steals the Show by Rapping Nicki Minaj

The kids of Stranger Things were excellent on The Tonight Show

Liam Mathews

On Wednesday's Tonight Show, the kids of the just-renewed Netflix series Stranger Things participated in two hilarious sketches. These kids -- Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and of course Millie Bobby Brown -- are the best kids.

The first sketch was a "deleted scene" from Stranger Things where Barb returns from the Upside Down and confronts them about leaving her there. The fan favorite character has a right to be angry, since no one cared that she went missing and died with a worm in her mouth. The kids are great, as is Jimmy Fallon's impression of Steve, but Tonight Show head writer A.D. Miles gets the most laughs by turning Barb into a tornado of indignant fury.

Then, Fallon and the kids played a game called Stranger Strings, an icebreaker guessing game involving spraying each other with silly string. All the kids are charming, but secret British person Millie Bobby Brown steals the whole show by flawlessly rapping Nicki Minaj's classic verse from Kanye West's song "Monster."

Millie's not the first person to borrow Nicki's verse in spectacular fashion -- Adele did it during her world-conquering Carpool Karaoke earlier this year. And that verse made Nicki Minaj a star. It's a gift that keeps on giving.
