Steven Seagal Lawman had the best ratings ever for an A&E series launch.

Premiering at 10/9c with back-to-back episodes, Lawman was seen by 3.4 million viewers at 10/9c and 3.6 million at 10:30/9:30c. The series also broke A&E records across demos such as the adults 18-49, in which the show averaged 2 million viewers.

Steve Seagal Lawman'sstrong bow comes two days after another A&E series, Hoarders, briefly won the title of best-ever series launch for the cable outlet among adults 18-49 and 25-54.

Music-filled show unveils Grammy nominations

On the broadcast networks, CBS nabbed the most viewers, with its 8/7c airing of the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (10.74 million viewers), while NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Centerattracted 8.78 million.

Fox scored the highest in the 18-49 demo with new episodes of So You Think You Can Dance (6.33 million viewers) and Glee (8.17 million). In the second-to-last episode of the fall, Glee hit a season-high with total viewers and adults 18-49, beating CBS' Grammy nominations special (6.48 million) at 9/8c.
