What if in addition to all his lethal assassin skills, Jason Bourne also had some supernatural talents? That's essentially the setup for Starz's new thriller series The Rook, which stars Emma Greenwell as Myfanwy Thomas, a woman who wakes up next to London's Millennium Bridge in a circle of dead bodies. She has no idea who she is, how she got there, or, most importantly, why she's surrounded by corpses.

The trailer for the new series follows Myfanwy as she learns that she's a high-ranking official in the Checquy, a British secret service agency for people with paranormal skills. But she's been betrayed by someone she knows — er, used to know. She'll also find out she has EVA, or "Extreme Variant Abilities," and has had her memories wiped and a target placed on her back as a result of something she doesn't remember.

The series, based on the novel by Daniel O'Malley, also stars Joely Richardson, Olivia Munn, Ronan Raftery, Catherine Steadman, Jon Fletcher, Shelley Conn, and James D'Arcy.

The Rook premieres Sunday, June 30 at 8/7c on Starz.
