Were your Spidey senses tingling this week?

If so, it might be because it looks like more Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse may be coming to a small screen near you soon!

Fresh off its Golden Globe Award win for Best Animated Picture and all the critical reverie that attended its theatrical release, Sony Pictures is reportedly considering stretching the film's web to cover the television scene next.

A recent New York Times article (via ScreenRant) detailed the studio's plans to capitalize on what last bit of Marvel property rights the studio has within the Spider-Man universe, and they're eager to make more Miles Morales action happen.

In addition to rolling out spin-off films based on the comics' other characters, like Morbius and Black Cat and Silver Sable, they're also reportedly considering television series based upon the ones featured in Spider-Verse.

No details yet on which of the characters that might include, but we're already imagining a few possibilities. How about a whole show that explores Miles Morales (Shameik Moore)'s inter-dimensional relationship with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) beyond the confines of a simple film sequel? Or an origin story of how Uncle Aaron (Mahershala Ali) became such an evil henchman?

Whatever they do, if it's half as fun as Spider-Verse, we're here for it.
