Social TV: New York Giants to "Hang Out" With Fans Through Social Media

If you ever dreamed about hanging out with the New York Giants, Thursday's the day to do it. The team announced it'll host a "Super Bowl XLVI Social Media Night" on Feb. 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. EST.
The event will include the team's first-ever Google+ hangout, in which 20 fans (previously selected) will participate in a live video chat with Victor Cruz, Corey Webster, Mark Herzlich and Henry Hynoski.

Social TV: NFL encourages players to tweet during Pro Bowl

For those not selected, there are plenty of other ways to engage with the team. The webcast will stream live on Giants.com/NYGsocial from the team's hotel in Indianapolis. Current players, Giants alumni and broadcasters will all answer questions culled from Twitter (use the hashtag #NYGsocial), Facebook and Google+ starting at 6:30.
